The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances and is stylishly decorated with a combination of red benches and cabinets and stainless steel. The apartment features three bedrooms, one furnished with a double bed and the other two furnished with two single beds in each. This apartment is located just off Nieuwmarkt in the heart of the Amsterdam Old City. Nieuwmarkt is home to De Waag, an old weight house that used to form part of the city walls built in 1481. Today the building houses a bar and restaurant, perfect for a drink on a warm afternoon. China Town is just off Nieuwmarkt and is home to international shops and restaurants not just from China but other parts of Asia, Europe and South America. Dam Square can be reached on foot and here you can find one of the most stunning buildings in the city in the Royal Palace, Madame Tussauds, the New Church and De Bijenkorf department store. The World Heritage listed Central Canal Belt with its array of stunning canal houses build during the Dutch Golden Age is nearby and some of these houses, including Museum Van Loon, can be visited. For art lovers, Rembrandt House is just a short distance from the apartment and is the place Rembrandt lived and worked for many years.
