You are located at the edge of the hectic city centre of Amsterdam. This doesn’t mean you are far away from the places to be. You are only minutes away from Museum Square with the impressive Rijksmuseum that exhibits many works of Dutch masters like Vermeer and Rembrandt. Right next to it you can visit the even impressive Van Gogh Museum that holds the largest collection in the world of this painter. You can also visit the Vondelpark. This large park is a wonderful place to enjoy nature or take your morning walk. This 19th century park is often used for open air events on national Queensday at the 30th of April for example. Or walk to Leidse Plein, a square full of pubs and restaurants. There is a cinema as well and at night this is one of the places to be if you enjoy nightlife. You can also take a tram that stops in your street. Amsterdam has a large network of trams and they will take you almost anywhere you like in Amsterdam.
